ESSEC Management Professor Ashok Som ranked 37th in the Case Centre Bestselling Authors Top40 of 2019-2020. The ranking features case Prof. Som since 2016, for the fourth consecutive time. Ashok Som has written several cases of which two are prize winners :
- Coach : To be or not to be Luxury won the award in Entrepreneurship in 2011
- Aditya Birla Group: Redesigning to become a Fortune 500 Company won the award in Strategy and General Management in 2006.

This ranking of authors whose cases sell the most was issued first in 2015. This year, 18 Schools from 10 countries are represented amongst the case authors best sellers. Europe and North America represent each 45% of those countries, whereas Asia counts for the remaining 10%.
