Many case competitions are regularly organized. To encourage and reward your case writing activity, here is a list of 6 case competitions with deadlines for submission this spring:

1/ A competition for research cases

CCMP-FNEGE 2021 Award

The FNEGE, in cooperation with its Scientific College, and the CCMP (Center for Educational Cases and Media) wish to encourage the production of case studies which highlight the link between research and the production of educational media.

Criteria of eligibility:
The case proposed for the competition is not necessarily linked to a research article.
The problematic of the case may have been developed in the form of research questions in a communication to a congress.
Or, reading grids resulting from the research can appear in the teaching note to discuss and debate the situation described in the case.

2/ A competition for sustainability cases

Best Riodd Case Award

Since 2019, the International Research Network on Organizations and Sustainable Development has been organizing the Prize for the best educational case to honor the educational mission of teacher-researchers via the case method, with the desire for continuous qualitative research of case studies in Sustainable Development or CSR. It promotes the ability to disseminate scientific knowledge and good practices of organizations to learners.

Criteria of eligibility:
The cases submitted and / or published to the CCMP between May of the year preceding the congress and April of the year of the congress, or cases finalized but not yet submitted, may participate.

3/ A competition for pedagogical innovation in finance and sustainability

RULES & REGULATIONS 2021 FIR-PRI Awards “Finance and Sustainability” European Academic Research 16th edition Best Pedagogical Innovation

The FIR award launched in 2005 aimed at developing academic research on the subjects of Finance and Sustainability. Mobilizing academic as well as finance communities, the Award fostered applied research and promoted interdisciplinarity on responsible investment. In 2011, FIR and PRI associated together and developed an international database of resources and coordinated events to have more impact.

Criteria of eligibility:
The award is open to researchers having FIRST implemented their Pedagogical Innovation into an academic program between January 1st, 2018 and April 18th, 2021

4/ A competition linked to a meeting in Florida this autumn with different tracks

North American Case Research Association (NACRA) 2021 Annual Conference Rosen Plaza© Orlando, Florida, October 14-16, 2021

The NACRA holds an Annual Conference to have outstanding case researchers work together. Distinct roundtables enable the development of better discussion-based and participant-centered cases, and suitability for different types of publications: journals such as NACRA’s Case Research Journal, case distributor, textbooks…

5/ A competition for cases on emerging economies

27th CEEMAN & Emerald Case Writing Competition

CEEMAN and Emerald join to offer price worth €10,000, of wich €4,000 in money to the three ranked first.
Winning the award means also global exposure through a publication in Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies, a collection of nearly 700 case studies.

Application criteria:
A focus on the emerging countries, or a case-writing developed in thoses countries.

6/ A competition for cases in finance

AFFI-CCMP Prize for the Best Case Study in Finance

The Association Française de Finance and the CCIP under its “CCMP” service organize in partnership the AFFI-CCMP Prize for the Best Case Study in Finance.

Application criteria:
The AFFI ‐ CCMP prize is intended to reward, each year, a case study in Finance devoted to an innovative, original and contributory analysis. The case aims to illustrate concepts of finance and apply them to the case of a company / institution. For the 2021 edition, can participate cases submitted to the CCMP in 2020, and those not yet filed with the CCMP but which will be shortly.
