On Tuesday March 18, the 2nd Digital Pedagogy Day was held at ESSEC.
Organized by the Décanat and K-lab, this annual event is an opportunity to discuss a Pedagogy-related topic and present it to teachers.
This year, 62 ESSEC teachers attended the event in person and 53 followed the online version.

ESSEC’s Knowledge-Lab (K-lab) has recently been equipped with a lightboard. This technological tool is mainly used for teaching purposes, in particular to create educational videos and interactive lessons.
A transparent glass panel backlit by a LED light integrated into the screen, the teacher can write or draw on it using fluorescent markers.
These writings and presentations are then visible and recorded by a camera positioned on the other side of the board. This innovative device makes it possible to record educational videos while facing the audience.

En novembre et décembre dernier, avait lieu à l’ESSEC le Digital Pedagogy Day, événement co-organisé avec le Décanat, Le K-lab et ESSEC Online. L’évènement s’est déroulé une première fois en présentiel dans les espaces du K-lab à Cergy, puis en ligne pour permettre aux professeurs présents sur les campus de Rabat et de Singapour d’y assister. Au total, ce sont près de 70 professeurs qui ont participé au Digital Pedagogy Day.

The first pedagogical workshop took place on February 3rd, co-organised by Emmanuelle Le Nagard, Associate Dean for Pedagogy and the K-lab team.
The purpose of the workshop was twofold: presenting Professor Zicari’s experience with teaching an online course and some of the digital tools that can help teaching. 20 external lecturers and Faculty attended the workshop, discussing with Prof. Zicari and sharing their own experiences.
